Höpler Trockenbeerenauslese

Liquid gold! An unusual sweet wine of the highest quality. This Trockenbeerenauslese (TBA) is produced from a selection of hand-picked grapes that have undergone particularly long vine ripening and have been affected by noble rot (Botrytis cinerea). Due to the long hanging time and the influence of noble rot, the grape juice is naturally concentrated within the grapes, producing the "nectar of the gods" after subsequent fermentation.

Colour: Golden yellow
Nose: Intense floral notes of pineapple and passion fruit .
Palate: Hints of caramel, honey, apricot, and gooseberry. A silky, long finish, complex and delicately fruity.
Food pairing: This rich, concentrated dessert wine pairs well with foie gras, blue cheese, fruit, and any kind of dessert.
