The most suitable old vine vineyards were selected for this wine by winemaker Emilio Sojo according to their capacity to extract freshness, fruit and the maximum expressiveness of the Tempranillo variety. The wine is aged for a brief time in oak barrels to achieve complexity of character, more body and a subtle hint of spices.

It is deep red in colour and the nose has surprising power dominated by fruit aromas intermingled with notes of toffee and spices. The palate is meaty with considerable structure. Flavours of cherries, strawberries, blackcurrant and raspberries are abundant with a finish of nutmeg, black pepper and liquorice.
