Marques de Murrieta is synonymous with high-quality Rioja wines and this is no exception. It is aged for 16 months in American oak barrels and then aged for a further two years in bottle prior to release. Predominantly Tempranillio, it is complex and elegant with refined fruit aromas on the nose and has a juicy and rich palate. The pleasant acidity gives the wine a good finish.
