Museum Tinto Reserva (2014)
This is one of the few reserve wines produced in Cigales made near the banks of the river Duero. This 100% Tempranillo has a lovely shade of ripe cherry-red with intense ruby-red hues. The elegant, fragrant nose has aromas of ripe black fruit together with magnificent notes of eucalyptus, liquorice and hints of pepper. The palate is compact, full, with firm tannins and an excellent weight of fruit. Long, lingering finish with enticing hints of vanilla.
This would be perfectly paired with Lamb or Pork.
