Paulliac is one of the most famous villages in Bordeaux, with more top ranked chateau than the other four appellations of the Haut Medoc. Chateau D'Armailhac is a fifth classified growth and is famed for producing wine with depth, power and elegance.

1990 saw changeable weather in the spring, whilst the summer was very dry and hot through to September. This meant that the crop showed exceptional potential and the grapes were in perfect condition when picked.

This wine has a light brick red colour and is very smooth and silky. It has matured berries on the palate and the tannins are well integrated. It is ready for drinking.
