Chateau Bonnet Blanc - if you overlook Bordeaux white wines then you are missing a real treat. Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon is the classic blend for the region and this one is no different - with a very small percentage of Colombard and Muscadelle. This particular blend is Sauvignon Blanc dominated. It is fresh and clean with notes of white nectarine, passion fruit and citrus. This is a dream with any fish based dish or on its own on a sunny September afternoon.

Chateau Bonnet Rose - This is a wine that we have been a fan of since Greig bought it along to our March tasting but you may not have noticed it as a Bordeaux rose is not necessarily the first thing you think of. But what a treat when you find it. Beautifully fresh and full of notes of redcurrant and raspberry, it has a surprising weight to the palate that makes it great with food. It is made with traditional Bordeaux grapes of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (unusual for a rose) and is an absolute cracker with a pizza on a sunny September afternoon.

Chateau Bonnet Rouge - This is a fresher style of Bordeaux red than you are maybe used to, full of expressive fruit including redcurrants and sour cherry. Designed to be drunk on the younger side, it is on the border of a medium to full bodied red that pairs beautifully with some cheese, maybe on a sunny Saturday afternoon in September?
